Jeesus, what did that one do Duchess?
Well Earl is done, finally. Phillip still has Andrea but she was a no show. Rick and co are readying for the big fight.
I think they shoiuld strike first, but Rick will puss.
Should be interesting when Rick and Mishone get the next face to face

The season finale episode pissed me off. Why won't someone just shoot the governor? Oh probably because they need him for next season's plot. I was shocked to see they killed off Andrea, I thought for sure she was in it for the long haul.

Now we wait for October.

I love Darryl and refuse to believe your spoiler alert, Clang!!

Just got caught up with the last two episodes.

Herschel. 21

So glad the effin' guv is dead, though.. And, so glad Mischon got to stab him straight through the heart.

P.s. really like Carol and don't think she shoulda been sent packing - hope she makes a return.

Surprised they killed the kid off, but not really. I think they got sick of having to write a babysitter in for her all the time haha!

I'm still thinking she made it on the bus.

I can't believe the killed Herschel, dammit!
Carol will make a return somewhere down the road, she was run out for taking the step of killing folks before they were dead. Might have done it for good reasons, but it was not her decision to make and it caused a huge problem. The big spook is still running around looking for a maniac.
Dunno if they killed off the little one or not, wouldn't be surprised to see her on the bus.

I'd be surprised if they kill off Darryl and Herschel in the same season. I think clang is trolling. Two central characters gone leaves a big hole. I think I'm almost done with it though , unless they change it up a bit.

I only started watching the show a couple of months ago. Watched a few episodes a week with my niece and now we're all caught up.

The last episode was a really good one; I had started losing interest just before that too. Those two full episodes surrounding Brian the Guv and his adventures bored me - never got interested in any of those characters or the story line.

But, if the momentum from this last episode keeps up, I'll stay tuned.

We rewound the shot of the empty baby carrier twice last night, haha. Couldn't tell if there was blood in it or not. But, I think the little gun-packing girls (the ones who saved Tyrese, ironically thanks to Carol's instruction) got on the bus with the baby.

Anyway, we felt kinda guilty here because we both think that it wouldn't be such a bad thing if the baby was dead - it was stupid not to abort her when they had the chance - impractical to be touting an infant around, putting other people at risk and not a good situation for the kid either. It was a selfish decision to have that baby in the first place, in our non-religious opinions.

So, they're on the road again...

P.s. my niece understands why Rick booted Carol. I think it was unnecessary and uncool despite the decisions she made while no one else was making any. Along with Carol, I'd like to see Morgan turn back up again too. I liked him a lot, even when he was paranoid and stir crazy with his own arsenal fit for an army.

I agree that the baby probably is still around, either with Tyrese and the girls or she made it on the bus. Or with Beth? We don't know where she is at this point do we? I am sooooo sad about Hershel! I watched the Talking Dead and the writer said that the rest of the season is very intense. I'm hoping it keeps up the momentum. I, too, was bored with the episodes surrounding the Gov. No interest there whatsoever. But the mom, Lilly? Is still around. I'm willing to bet they focus on her some. Now we wait until Feb 9!

If the morticians would have tied the shoelaces of the dead together that show would be hilarious.

If the bus didn't stop or turn around, guessing that Tyrese and the two girls Carol was watching over will be traveling together as a new storyline - with or without the baby, or Rick and Carl. Betting Carol appears on the scene again if that happens.

Hoping the promise of those writers holds true too, RAP.

P.s. I don't care much about Lilly, but she's okay. Would rather see more of Glen again when the new episodes start though - and I'll miss Herschel.

I'm willing to bet they had a plan. A spot they were all supposed to meet, like the highway when the farm burnt down.

It stands to reason they did. The bus was a part of it. And Herschel's daughters were arguing about 'it was the plan' for Beth to drive the bus, 'that was her job' or something along those lines..

Good episode but I will refrain from spoilers. Predictions: Daryl and the younger farmhouse daughter will form a pair eventually as she ages into not - creepy territory. Carol will show up down the road, probably with Tyrese and the girls storyline. And I am guessing the death this season may in fact be Rick. I have no grounds for this and obviously it doesn't follow the comics...but his roles can be filled from this point by Darryl or even Carl moving forward. I don't see Tyrese's daughter lasting long either.

I liked it better before the main writer left.

Frank Darabont was a solid show runner but I don't think the writing is the problem since Robert Kirkman is still heavily involved and he created the series. The issue is money. AMC are notoriously cheap and there was a push to lower the zombie mayhem for a while in order to save money on casting extras. That's why the second season was boring as hell. They have since fixed that mindset somewhat and the show should improve now that they're mobile again.

Thank God, (or her secular replacement) its back.

The 3rd series was ok, I'm just glad there will be actually something worth watching on tv for a change.

I got distracted from Walking Dead by HBO's True Detective. What a great series with Matthew Mcconaughey and Woody Harrelson -- hooked me. The closing episode was a little disappointing, but it was a great first season. Season 2 is gonna star Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn.

Anyway, finally just watched the last episode of Walking Dead season 4. I liked the season and thought the finale was a really good episode. Where are Carol and Beth?

Anxious to find out what's going down at the terminus cult, but hope it's not a revamp of the Governor story line.
