I have a salty tooth and not much of a sweet tooth. But, every now and again, I get a craving for something sugary.
Today, I saw a ranking of chocolate candy bars. Don't even recognize half of them and totally disagree with the standings.
Rankings:

Butterfinger isn't even on the list! Neither is Toblerone. And, Kit Kat and Twix are better than a Snickers bar? Pffft.
When it comes to chocolate, the very best most decadent (and unhealthy) splurge, for me, is a chocolate-topped buttermilk glazed doughnut. Or, just a thin extra dark chocolate bar. Or, a dark chocolate brownie with chopped walnuts.
Got any favorite candy bars or chocolate/sweet guilty pleasures ?

I very occasionally get a need for a sugary chocolate buzz but generally I prefer my sweets to be mints or boiled sweets (small individually wrapped hard candy) or sour haribo or liquorice proper old fashioned stuff. If a want a sugary chocolate rush a snickers bar or kit kat will more than suffice.
Chocolate in the UK is ultra sweet its no wonder so many sprogs are bouncing off the walls like chimps on crack around here. Hersheys chocolate always tastes a bit like cheese to me because its nowhere near as sweet.

That ranking list is of UK chocolate hence the lack of the Butterfinger which is not sold in the UK unless you go to one of those specialist american candy websites or shops.

I don't really have a sweet tooth unless it's pudding or custard. Banana pudding, chocolate pudding, bread pudding, I like them all. I'll skip on the candy bars.

Paydays are my favorite. Then Snickers. I don't indulge that often. I can't buy Halloween candy until that day or I'd eat it all.

I can't remember the last time I ate a chocolate bar. I don't have a big sweet tooth unless it's for black jelly beans or ice cream.
I'm trying to think of what I would choose as a chocolate bar but I'm drawing a blank.
Peanut butter cup!

Thanks, don' really check out the candy aisles and didn't realize it was a UK list. Doh.
Here's a recent list of the US top 25. Huge industry in terms of sales dollars. Aside from all of the gum products on the list, only two of the candy products have been around for less than 50 years.

M&M's are the biggest sellers here. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Butterfingers are on the list too. I like the peanut butter/chocolate combo; must not be so popular in the UK?

Peanut butter/chocolate is a popular combo with Brits who have visted the US I remember my friend Judith bringing back Reeces peanut butter cups and them being polished off.
Our chocolate is so sweet its like sugar based crack honestly Hershey is known as tasting like cheese but its probably healthier.
Saying that over there you can buy guns like candy fuck that!

If I had to pick I guess I'd go with Almond Joy. Followed by Whatchamacallit.

There used to be a chocolate bar here called a scorched peanut bar. It was like a burnt toffee brittle with crushed peanuts in it covered with a thin layer of milk chocolate. They were awesome but you can't get them anymore

I hate when you really like something and then they discontinue it. "Oh everyone really seems to like this stuff, lets do it for a limited time only"
