Bullshit. Karl solely produced the Ricky Gervais show at one stage. It was Karl's on air comments that grew so much in popularity that led to his continued on air sucess, and also to the increased popularity of the Ricky Gervais show.

Karl doesn't lay it on like 'Ali G', but when Karl is at home with his wife, away from the camera, I bet my ass he's not Karl; The idiot abroad.

If he's a fucking idiot, he makes you and me look brain dead with the business decisions and career choices he has made.

Karl his friends and family have all stated he is a complete fucking idiot ²⁴⁄₇ he has become famous because he is an absolute fucking mong that people laugh at not with.

He is a humourless, dim witted, moribund twat and admitted that it was harder and took more brain power working on a factory assembly line than producing a short weekly talk radio show. He said “all I do is push the on air button and make sure the microphones are working that's it anyone could do that.”

He also admitted in one of the podcasts if it wasn't for Ricky and Stephen micro managing his career he would just sit at home alone all day doing DIY and pottering around parks like a old age pensioner. Without Ricky and Stephen endlessly pushing, promoting and publicising him he simply would not be famous at all.

He isn't an actor playing a role like Stephen Colbert, I met him in a bar in Salford in 2009 and he is a very nice bloke but there is nothing going on behind his eyes at all. Everything he says in the podcasts he actually believes 100%. He is a professional imbecile he's rich because he's an idiot that people enjoy laughing at not with.

When asked if people recognise him in the street he said “yeah but its not if I've done anything worthwhile so its a bit pointless really, being on telly isn't special anymore anyone can get on tv, even me”. Its like someone has taken up being locked in the stocks and being pelted with rotten fruit for a living.

Only smart people get rich? Bullshit! Kim Kardashain is rich because she has an arse like a beach ball, Paris Hilton is rich because of her family and she got fucked on the internet. The era of the talentless rich celebrity is very much upon us.

At least Karl is unintentionally hilarious.

The guy won an award for best factual series host, he's written several books, he loves what he does, he's a multi-millionaire who makes about $300k per year in salary... Good networking, smart choices and solid business decisions - that fucking idiot has incredible luck!

To suggest that his public persona in the entertainment industry might differ from his private life is like ,well, asking us to believe that Rock Hudson wasn't really a ladies' man and Ozzy Osbourne isn't actually a devil-worshipping prince of darkness off stage. Inconceivable.

1 - host? Karls hosts the shows he is in? If being put in ridiculous and dangerous situations by Ricky Gervais and the producers just to film Karls natural retarded real life reactions can be classed as hosting then fair enough. Its the bull in a bullfight “hosts” the fight!

2 - the books are popular because they are the inane ramblings of an idiot that people find funny. Karl doesn't write them is as comedy like him they are hilarious completely unintentionally. When asked if his books have a narrative he honestly replied “what's a narrative?”

3 - good networking, smart choices and solid business decisions? Yes by Ricky Gervais and his management!

4 - Karl Pilkington is a real life moron from Salford - fact. He is not a fictional character he is not an actor. He was lucky he became mates with two talented comedians and writers who made it their lifes work to make Karl famous.

Pilkington is his BFF, what is funny about him is he is so unaware of how hilarious he is with the remarks he makes. When he talks about evolution he draws on Fred Flinstone and Rachel Welch in Planet of the Apes. Quite often, Ricky will say to him 'you are talking shit again'.

The podcasts and the animated Ricky Gervais Show are brilliant I have them all on dvd, its not easy to make me laugh but I nearly pissed my pants watching it.
