He has been absent elsewhere too and I have only seen occasional glimpses of him on facebook. He had a bit of a meltdown before he left but if I had to guess I'd say connectivity is an issue. Last I knew his computer had crapped out and he was reduced to phoneposting. If the phone developed issues he could be effectively silenced. He's breathing AFAIK, just AWOL.
