...are often found in your pillow. Yuk! Dirt and oil and dead skins cells get trapped in there too. Yuk! Dust mites, which are in the spider family, like to hangout in the crevices of your pillow as well. Oh god.
Sweet dreams.

I instantly feel nauseated when I try out the tempurpukic mattress and pillows. I don't what it is, everyone else I know loves them.

Can't I get that shit dry cleaned or something? Distress call going out. That's just downright creepy.

You could probably give it a shot but it's recommended that pillows be replaced every six months. I wasn't aware of that and I'm pretty fricken skeeved after reading that article. I'm a clean freak and this has mind fucked me terribly.
Pillows can be quite pricey but I've always justified the cost to myself by thinking they last for years. I don't think I'll follow that philosophy any longer if I intend to only keep them 6 months.

You can get covers for the pillows to keep them cleaner, nice hotels use them. It keeps "Dust" and critters out of the pillow and you can put whatever pillowcase on them you like

I wash the pillows in the washer. Isn't that sufficient? I think the recommendation to replace them every 6 months is a marketing ploy.

If you lived with them this long and aren't dead its probably fine, now that you know it doesn't mean its the end of the world. I just sprayed my bulkhead for spiders and sprayed the top and the spiders were falling on me in their death throes. I only noticed them after 4 or 5 fell on me. THAT kinda freaked me out.
Also when you do stuff like spray crevices for spiders don't breath that stuff in. I thought I was gonna die from not being able to breath after spraying them, it took about 1⁄2 an hour before I was breathing normal again.

We wash our pillow cases every 3
rd day, and all the sheets & of course the cases once every week. It works for us.
