User, it was brilliant thinking to use the red towel like that.
No rake (or red panties ) needed. He flew out a little while after I put out the feeder and the towel. I wouldn't have thought of the red towel until you mentioned the red feeder so you get the credit.
The rake might have worked too but I like our ideas better.

Happy Christmas and hugs to you Duch and everyone else this Christmas. We are going to stay at a nice hotel for a couple of days and then shop. Just finished night duty stint. Before you feel sorry for me, I get paid very well for my trouble.

Merry Christmas, Aussie!
So...are you staying at an upscale hotel where they wait on you hand & foot? You should order a bottle of Cointreau and toast yourself, you've had a big year and accomplished much.

Yes we are staying in a nice hotel here today. The people here are so lovely, we had a Christmas meal, it was so relaxing and it was one huge job that I didn't have to do this year. The sales are on here in the city tomorrow I would like to buy a new mobile phone, Samsung. The dog is being looked after by the babysitter. I am so glad we have done this, this year.

I got up this morning at 3:30 to use the bathroom and there on the couch is my son swinging his legs say "Hi" I told him go back to bed you nut, but nooooooo he stayed up and had all the presents separated by name when I got up at 6:30. I was gonna lay into him but just told him to put them all back under the tree and sit until everyone got up. Geez!!!!
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

^ He sounds like an excitable boy -- just can't wait to get his hot little hands on all that cool new stuff.
My niece is super mellow. She's been in Southern California since Sunday and I'm still home trying to resolve some staffing bullshit. There's no way I'm gonna make that road trip happen.
So.....all by my lonesome til my guest arrives on Saturday. Then, I'm boarding a plane Wednesday morning, no matter what's happening here. It'll be nice to ring in the new year with family anyway.
MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!!

My breath smelled like marijuana & wine. Do you mind?
Someone offered me a hot buttered rum and I wanted to heave. I can't even think about those things after a night spent on the bathroom floor years ago. *gags*

Don't know what a Motel 6 is, but this is 5 star (I think) and we are high up. I think I am going to start to do this every year. It is a huge relief not having to worry about the catering. I didn't realise how much of a big job that is.

I think it might fall in the same category as Econo-Lodge. This is not a good thing.

That would be an Ibis. Where even the skinny chicks almost have to back themselves into the toilet.

Here's where we stayed. Heated pool. Spent heaps of money, and it was awesome. I might do it again next year. The staff there, were kind, warm and friendly.

I tossed some cookies Christmas Eve and before mailing it I sang a verse from "silent night"
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.
