I'll make this prediction right now, and would have said it even before John Fox officially left today: Peyton's done. He knows there's no shot at a superbowl next year. This was their washout year, and they'll be losing people by the boatload after this season. With Fox gone, and judging by the way he just flat ran outta gas, Peyton got nothing left to prove or offer. I see a retirement speech in his near future. Wonder if he'll try to do the honorary one-day Indy contract...
Besides, what better and more poetic way to go out, if you can't do it on top, than to "hand" the torch to Luck, the guy who replaced you?

I think he'll sign a day contract to go out as a Colt for sure.
Kinda interesting tho... Denver goes from one of the greatest QBs of all time to a huge question mark if he retires.
And with the 28th or so pick in the draft.

Christian Ponder will be a free agent.

Would any of you care to give Johnny Manziel a grade for his rookie year?

At first glance, Johnny looked pretty bad.
Undersized and certainly not sold on his arm.
He'll be the teams #1 going into training camp and should be the week 1 starter.
I'd give him a C- for his rookie season.

I'd give him a C- for his rookie season. I think a C- is being generous MS. I'd say a solid D and that's only because his Snickers commercial wasn't horrible.

Manziel is a bust, he just doesn't know it yet. Next year he will be shown out to be what his critics called him: a good college QB.
Re: Broncos- even before Fox left they were in trouble because of free agency. This was to be their make or break season. Now his staff will be jettisoned as well which makes it almost impossible for Manning to stay.
But question mark? Not so fast. Elway doesn't do anything without a master plan. No way he would have pulled that trigger unless he had a replacement in mind, and if I had to bet money I would say the replacement is named either Kubiak or Shanahan. Tough to say which one, Elway has history with both men and knows that they made a hell of a team back in his playing days. But while Shanahan is the better pick he and Elway have bad blood. Would he accept his old QB as his boss? And Kubiak has better friendship with Elway but worse pedigree than Mike and Kyle.
Either way, Broncos will be fine. My team to watch next year will be the Bills. New owner Pagiula has a history of splashy, personality - driven acquisitions and Ryan is no different. Might be the first time in two decades the Bills were dynamic instead of anemic...I predict them snatching up some colorful talent this off season.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

Nevermind. Now that crushed is Arod's gay lover, he'll be getting plenty of D to make up for the one that he missed.

Looking more and more like Kubiak is the guy for the Broncos. Makes sense. He and Elway were tight back in the good ol days.

I don't know what was wrong with the coach you had.
