I jest but if they'd gotten involved in substances, I'd have a lot more options. Hell, neither kid will take a freaking Motrin easily. They HATE medications.
I suggested, with her Dr's okay, that my daughter take some Arnica for her swelling. She looked at me like I was suggesting she take rat poisoning.
Whatever.
My kids wont take any medication either, but that's probably from me preaching to them from the age of two that they'll drop dead from it.
I do know my son smokes weed and has smoked K2. He started having anxiety attacks from it and went to the ER one night. That's where he admitted to smoking K2 or whatever that garbage is called. My husband always has a hidden stash of the best weed and he's smoking K2. Fucking idiot. It's not like he keeps it in a vault.
I've heard of kids dropping dead of kidney failure from that shit. I'd prefer him to just steal my husband's weed.

Huh. I just read about K2; didn't really know anything about it. Yeah, tell your husband to share his stash. That K2 sounds scary. My daughter says my son has tried pot. I asked him recently if he'd tried it (I really wouldn't care too much...I almost expected it by this age) and he looked at me like I'd sprouted another head. He vehemently said no and I tend to believe him (we have a pretty good relationship and he knows I wouldn't freak out or anything).
Some of the kids he used to count as friends have started smoking and that's a friendship buster for him. He doesn't have them over anymore or anything.
I guess it's good but I still want the skinny shit to put on some weight. I don't want him to smoke but several bouts of the munchies would be great.
I was dropping acid in the 7 th grade. My kids are paying me back for what I did to my parents; just in their own ways.

I had to look up what K2 was. It is scary stuff. I'm so anti drugs and paranoid about them these days. I wish my son was just a normal teen that smoked a little weed once in awhile.

It takes some of us a little longer to grow up than others.

K2 (spice) is nothing to mess around with. Why in the fuck anyone would want to use that shit when they could just smoke a joint is beyond me.
I think that's what that guy in Florida was on when he ate that guys face off.

I don't want to be that fucked up on anything. My God. No self control and so emotional you eat someone's face off. Where the hell is the appeal of that.
Now I'm thinking about the guy and his wife calling 911 after getting stoned out of their minds. I think we listened to the call in Mock, it was hilarious. I think he might have been a cop.

I think it was bath salts the guy was on when he ate the other guys face.
Either way I'm pissed that my son smoked that stupid shit. Especially when my husband has real weed. He doesn't offer it to him, but it's not hard to find and grab a bud if he really wanted to. I think he was doing something else too because he wasn't acting right and the kid went from 185 lbs. to 155 lbs. in like a month. I posted about it a while back. He's 6'5 so I was worried that there is something really wrong with him like cancer or AIDS. I took him to the doctor and had every test under the sun done and it was all good.
Being a single mother would be hard to deal with that bullshit. He's straightened up and back up to 185 lbs. after my husband threatened to kill him and makes him work seven days a week.

I've noticed that digital television today has a tendency to get scrambled quite a few times but the show continues at the moment it started scrambling. This must screw up the seconds that are used and that's why sometimes a commercial will stop a few seconds after it starts. Time does not stop because of some television quirk, those seconds have to add up to something after a week, month, year.
There Sally something really stupid to contemplate.

I know y'all are talking about Cecil the lion but I still can't go into that thread. I'm afraid of what I'll see.
I wouldn't know about this story if the Daily Mail hadn't pushed it right into my face, the fuckers. I hate being caught unaware like that.
I wish the worst for that dentist. I would be delighted if he lost his entire fucking practice because all his patients left him.

I wish I didn't look at it. It's not even bloody or gruesome. It's just... I don't know, haunting I guess is what I would describe it. That and tear jerking.

It's a disturbing story, as are the photos.
The cruel and senseless killing of Cecil is very sad and the assholes behind it really piss me off.
But, it's encouraging to me that so many people around the world have been affected by Cecil's ordeal/death and become motivated to push for tougher prosecution of poachers as a result of their emotion/anger.

I'm not the only one who has shed a tear over that poor lion.
The court of public opinion is hanging that dentist in the village square.

I stay far away from that thread. There will never be anything fun in it and I know this.
I must have posted in it at one time because I still get notifications but I have enough sense now to know there is nothing in there I'll want to read about. The sad animal stories have the power to fuck with my head in a very bad way.

Hey, has anyone seen those pictures of bloody aborted baby parts that Planned Parenthood is selling and making profit from? Legs, livers, hearts, arms. No? How about the videos of doctors haggling over what price to get for the aborted parts, and discussing exactly how to crush parts of the baby to keep the valuable organs intact?
No? Just Cecil the Lion stirring up the hate?
Okay then.

Is someone preventing you from starting a thread about it? Tell me, honey and I'll hit 'em with my handbag.

What's your point Jimbone?
People can't be interested and saddened/maddened by animal poaching until/unless they express outrage about some despicable abortion clinic practices too?
I can feel affected by both, and do. And you can post a thread about Planned Parenthood's abortion scandal if you want. Anybody who doesn't want to look or discuss it can avoid the topic. Okay then?

People can be be bothered by both, of course. Just interesting to me what garnered the attention versus what didn't.
It's all good.
