Dumbfucks. that's not true, in both instances whether that was Trump or Clinton, it is appalling act and no one would support that. I did notice that your new President praised Putin and criticized your country as not being innocent alluding to the fact that you are a bunch of killers. If you are fine with a leader like that, fine.

Our country is not innocent, there is plenty of blood on our hands. I don't think stating that is a comparison to Russia or giving them a pass. We're not Russia, everyone knows that. It was a statement that it's in our best interest to try to remain peaceful with them even if we don't agree, and not everyone agrees with the things we've done either. Drive yourself crazy analyzing every goddamn word he says though.

America has gone into Iraq, Afghanistan, and quite a few other shady endeavors. Realistically we have done some rather bad deals. But it doesn't mean what you perceive, that is flawed thinking chuckles.

I tell you what, America is better in bed with Russia and China than Iran. Iran cares squat for the atrocities of ISIS or their own madness which is far worse than the rest of the world.

First you call the guy a liar and then when he's honest you call him a scumbag who's teaming up with Russia to take over the world. Retards.

It wouldn't matter if Trump or Clinton or Sponge Bob had responded to the question about respecting a Russian killer by bringing up that there are American killers too. That is a 'comparison', which means to note the similarities between two things. Even if you think the statement is accurate, it's still a 'comparison' and you sound as fucking retarded trying to redefine that simple and neutral word as the people who tried to redefine 'ban' to make a case or argument.

Sally I don't think your President should be the one to point out that your country is not innocent. I find that bizzare. That's the leader of the country undermining the Country.

"dumber than a suitcase of buttholes" you should know about assholes...... U are a dummkopf.......I will write more when I feel better.... You and a few more on this forum remind me of OJ's jury...they all ignored facts, too....they dismissed DNA, etc and found him not guilty....As Bill Maher would say, you live in a fact free bubble. It must be nice to not see beyond your own dumb perception of something which comes out of mouth of a known liar and company. I expect any day, you will be singing praises of Kellyanne and her alternative facts.... You and a few other people here on Mock predictably come together when someone suggests that your comment doesn't make sense, so you must be dense. IF WE had a dumbfuck or demented/crqzy fuck of the month, you would get the award for this month....and you won't own any of your stuff, only deny, deny..

I wasn't even talking to you, I was addressing BB and Aussie's comments that what he said somehow equated to him being an evil, dangerous dictator in standing with Russia. I did not get that at all from what he said. But all you care about is nitpicking my use of the word 'compare'. It would be like if you said you gained 30 lbs and I said I gained 5 and it sucks, but we have to deal with it anyway. That doesn't mean I'm putting myself on par with you. But I guess by definition that would be comparing. I'm sorry I used the word incorrectly, Jesus Christ.

And, you keep repeating how you don't see any comparison in the statement; it's one of your focal points in this discussion. It's not nitpicking to address what you keep repeating, which is reflective of you either being ignorant or full of shit on this point. People are saying that Trump compared the U.S. to Russia when it comes to governmental/leadership killing because that's exactly what he did, sally. Instead of you nitpicking at people for calling a comparison a comparison and having a different opinion about that comparison, you could just say you didn't consider the comparison a big deal and you agreed with Trump's statement. But, where's the fun in that?

Plenty of people were outraged, but I agreed. This time I really am making a comparison, HotD. The comparison to the words that both Trump and Obama spoke that is, not the comparison to muslims and Christians. That's apples and oranges, much like the US and Russia. But in the end the same result as far as innocent people being killed. That's what Trump meant, but go on hating him. The general you, not you, HotD.

I bet if BBH and Aussie met, they'd hit it off.
So well that neither one would be able to get a word in edgewise and they'd actually end up trying to kill each other. I also didn't know that HotD was familiar with SpongeBob. I want her even more now, if that's possible.

Good job, sal. The fact that you now know a comparison when it's right in front of your face AND you're not afraid to say it out loud....is good progress. You've come a long way, baby. You did indeed make a comparison between Obama and Trump, and Obama made a comparison between Muslims and Christians, and Trump made a comparison between Russia and the U.S., and so on........ I thought I was gonna have to lobby for a new School House Rock about comparisons, but seems my work is already done. ETA: just saw your edit, WitchiePoo. Back to the lobby draft, you're still daft.

Obviously.......it's not crying, or band-wagoning, or nitpicking to acknowledge that the words spoken publicly by the U.S. President (and other public leaders and representatives) matter when it comes to key issues, like foreign relations, crime, human and civil rights... Not every word/statement is a big deal, but some undoubtedly are a big deal. Trump, Conway, and some of their devotees love to try to shame people who don't just swallow their 'alternative facts', otherwise known as lies and misinformation, by doubling down on the bullshit and insisting the truth-tellers are "HATERS!" Case in point: Today, Trump once again repeated one of his favorite 'alternative facts' to justify some of his controversial proposals which restrict or infringe upon innocent people's rights. He said that the murder rate in the United States is the highest it's been in 47 years. That was some major bullshit when he first said it and it's still some major bullshit. The murder rate was the lowest since 1980 in 2014. It grew slightly in 2015, but 2015 was still much lower than 47 years ago. 2015 is the year in question; the year the latest stats are available. No matter how many times the fact is presented and the lie debunked, some blockheads believe and defend the lie because President Trump said it.
02-07-2017, 11:34 PM
So...today, Jake Tapper questioned Kellyanne Conway about the false and fear-mongering rhetoric. She actually said this: “When he (Trump) talks about the 47 years and the rate, I’m handed the information, I think you referred to it as well, that we have had an increase from 2014 to 2015.”
I think even Maggot would probably admit that "the highest in 47 years" does not mean "the highest in 2 years and one of the lowest in 47 years." Anyway, Tapper wasn't having it this time. He told her, “(President Trump) said it’s the highest murder rate in 47 years and the media doesn’t report it. And, again, Kellyanne, the media doesn’t report it because it’s a lie, because it’s not true.” That she peddled such crap today, so soon after referring to a massacre in the United States that never happened (in order to defend Trump's travel ban)....... is truly catering to the lowest common denominator. I hope she regroups and can earn back some credibility if she's going to continue on the job. She'd referred to the fictitious Bowling Green Massacre two other times (Cosmo, TMZ) before getting busted out on the lie last week. It's a pattern across issues. I don't think credible media/people are going to let her go unchecked any longer, nor should they. Ref: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/fact-check-t...rder-rate/ |
