I coulda sworn we already had a thread with this title but I couldn't find it...
I have a couple junk drawers in my kitchen, one in the counter & another in the island. I cleaned the one in the island and I walk by and open it just to look at how tidy and organized it now is. It makes me feel righteous. *flexes*
I have a junk room too
Do y'all have something like that?

I have 3 junk closets and one junk shed. I hate them and the only reason they're not clean is because its raining. Although I did get 6 bags of junk from a few other places today. Someday I will be free of junk but until then I'm just bitching about it.

I have a junk apartment. I really thought we were going clean up the apartment and get rid of junk this weekend but all I've done is a lot of solo Netflix and chilling.
Oh well maybe tomorrow. *sigh*

Yeah....that's my brother's motto. I was willing to sacrifice my 3 day weekend and help clean up the house, he was wasn't willing to sacrifice any of his way too much free time. I would have done it myself, but I don't want to be my brother's unpaid housekeeper.

My house is pretty much free of junk, but I have a junk shed that is in disarray. I almost killed myself climbing over everything to get to the beach cooler.

He'd just be calling me at work asking me what the WiFi password was everyday. Seriously.
Years ago, I had a computer and he didn't so he actually called up my workplace to ask me what the password was.

I have never had a junk drawer in my kitchen. I know most folks do though. I always thought it weird, I have 1000's of $ in tools all neatly arranged in 1000's of $ in tool boxes in the garage. I have many boxes of neatly sorted hardware all that so I know exactly where to get what I need. Rooting around in a kitchen drawer for a shitty screwdriver ( no one has a Snap-On in there) or an old ass rubber band and a drywall screw just never made any sense to me

My girlfriend has an entire junk house. I am helping her declutter. But it occasionally takes a few episodes of Hoarders to get her focused. I just keep reminding her of the feeling of weight being lifted with every box out the door, and I have successfully turned all but one room into livable space. Slow work, but I am patient.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

11 years later I am out and the fucking junk is still there I had something similar in my marriage, my ex wife was a packrat and I badgered her into a garage sale/ giveaway. She whined about not knowing what to throw away and I said she should get rid of anything broken, useless or she was sick of looking at.
Next thing I know I'm sitting on the curb with a box of baby toys, a busted toaster oven and a stack of old National Geographics...

I hate stuff, it stresses me out to see clutter everywhere. I go through the house once a week with a garbage bag throwing shit out because the people I live with keep bringing it in.
