Why Sugar Pines, are Pine Pines not good enough?

The cones from the Sugar Pine are massive. I have pine trees here on the farm but they drop normal size cones, they're a dime a dozen. Cones from a Sugar Pine are the mother of all cones. They can be up to 20 inches long. Woooo. I do things with them for the holidays, all kinds of different stuff, spray paint 'em, wire them to garland, fill a pretty basket, put them in a urn with greenery, the list goes on.

My boss' housekeeper has her whole house smelling like this. It's one of the nicest scents I've ever smelled. It has sandalwood in it. Love! CluckCluckCluck Glade scented oil - Warm Flannel Embrace

Can't wait til I am back in my own space. It smells like dogs and cigarettes here

I'm going to look for that when I go to the grocery store. I can't have it plugged in while the bird is in the house though. They have sensitive respiratory systems and I've heard of pet birds dying from scented oils and candles. I only light the candles when she's on the porch and then I put them out a couple of hours before she comes back in.

Yea you need to be careful with any kind of an aerosol around birds

Yeah when I clean the house I put her on the porch too, and then I leave the bedroom windows open where her cage is at so it's good and aired out when I bring her back in.

What part of "birds have fragile respiratory systems" did you not understand, Einstein? But I guess if you really want to find out you can go to the park and spray the pigeons with Lysol.

Yeah, even though the title suggests it, this isn't a random thread about birds. So when you see a post about birds that doesn't mean you shouldn't bother looking any further to see what prompted it.

I never knew that about birds. We had a parrot growing up and that was during the 80's big hair era and we were using aqua net like it was going out of style....because it was.
Anyway I am not sure if I will like that scent Duchess, I will check it out. I used to get these satchels to keep in my car, suitcases and some drawers and I can't find one scent anymore that the store used to carry. I am trying to reduce my items so I am not wanting to pick anything new up until I am settled again.

I don't recommend things much because one's taste is so personal and I believe in "to each their own" but I really liked this scent. Nice smells are hard to come by. I don't like flowery scents at all. Weirdly I am always drawn to scents that are similar to what a man smells like and I really love the smell of sandalwood.

Obsession was always my favorite cologne and I loved the smell of men's shaving cream. One of the guys I worked with wore this cologne that was from France, or somewhere, I can't remember the name now, but I will find it.

Eau de Cade
The Cade Eau de Toilette is a spicy, woody fragrance that evokes the dry wood, red soil and hot stones found in the sunny Garrigue landscape of southern France. Top notes of bergamot lead to a generous heart of cedar wood and pink pepper. A base of cade wood and citrus linger on the skin throughout the day. Enriched with essential oils of cade wood and pink pepper. I think it smelled best on the person. I house sat for them and sprayed some on a scarf. Mmmm
