Someone said today that this place goes from 4,000 in the winter to 12,000 in the summer.
Seriously. OMFG Wow. I don't know how to verify that. 4,000 is definitely the winter and year round folks, but I don't know how to count how many come in and out during the summer.

I live in a tourist town too. My neighbors rent out their vacation home for $1300 per week during the races, spring break and bike week.

Yeah it is.
And No Maggot, I am not in Seattle any more. This weekend will be a mad house. They pull in extra cops and security for this weekend alone. I will report back after and let you know if all of the stories I hear are true. I will be staying out of the stores, downtown and the restaurants this entire weekend.

Sorry, I turned that around in my head to sound pornographic. @Maggot It used to get pretty bad here on Memorial day weekend and Labor day weekend. So much that windows were being broken in store fronts. It has calmed down and it has become a little more family friendly and focused, but they still bring in extra security and cops. I am overjoyed. Got all my shopping done for the weekend, I should not have to deal with the crowds.
