No. Fuck YOU, Duchess. If she wishes to be a hypocrite and try calling opinion fact and charging others of making baseless conspiracies, and smearing members with the basest immorality for simply not agreeing with her position, and accusing others of being smug, arrogant and condescending, whilst being the walking definition of the same.....then she can eat a big shit sandwich and I will be constantly pushing it in her face.

Women will die.
I'm not interested in going backwards, Pappy. It's 2019. Men need to get their noses out of our business. We can manage nicely on our own, we don't need men telling us what to do, how to do it or when to do it. It's our business and it's between us and our Dr.'s.
Stop pretending that this is a man vs women issue. It is dishonest and when you set it up as a dishonest position it is not worth considering. Why are you being dishonest? If you said Republican men and women vs Liberal men and women, you would be close. Religious men and women vs non-religious men and women you would be even closer.
It was never about men and women and you KNOW that to be that case. So why are you being dishonest and lying when it is so much easier to frame the argument rationally and honestly? Why? because here is the answer to that proposition:
"Men are not interested in your reproductive rights (almost to a man) and pretending otherwise is bigoted and stupid."
See how stupid that position is. Now you can say "Oh but when I say "men" I mean the men in Congress. But then that is stupid for four reasons:
1. Men in congress are hardly a cross section of men in America or the world. What they think in no way uni-minds with a collective male consciousness.
2. Plenty of women in politics back these men's position meaning that it is NOT a "male" position but a right to life position, shared by both genders
3. Plenty of men in politics do not back these men's positions meaning that it is NOT a "male" position but a right to life position, shared by both genders
4. If you have an issue with too many men and not enough women in politics, women should step up more and when they are running vote for their favourite women. Why? Because there are more female voters by population than men and IF they do not then they get what they voted for and can't then blame men for filling the roles they either did not care enough to fill or did not vote for once they did.
See how stupid and dishonest that is from start to finish? Why did you not seek a reasonable position to stake a position?
Were you listening to Liberal news and Democrat talking points again and pretending you had thought about them? Should stop that. Be an original thinker. Have your own reasoned thoughts.

Yes that sounds perfect. Mirah your friend is an arsehole and Rootilda as we know is slightly batty and demented.
See whilst I say that I do not want a place where abortion is unavailable and part of that reason is that young kids are not ready for adult decisions like that. Note I did not say Young girls are not ready or young boys. I said young kids. I think by the time you are 18 or 19. You really have to start owning your choices. You are an adult but prior to that....kids are stupid.
My daughter knows a lot of girls who have had kids in their teens. Generally they seem to keep them. Some are with the Dad's and some not. She recently started to get back in contact with a guy friend. I know the kid and he is a nice kid. I do not gel with a lot of the boys who she is friendly with but he was a nice, friend, respectful, and solid kid with a good personality. He split up with a ex who I had on good authority was a bitch and they split because she cheated on him. My daughter started spending some time with him and they were probably going to start dating. Then everything went to Hell in a handbasket as the girl announced to social media (not her parents) she was pregnant. She announced him as the Father. He reluctantly went back to her and said he would support her and the baby. She is excited and he is far from. My daughter is livid. It kills off their relationship as a friend because this girl does not like my daughter or any other girls this guy is friendly with.
Stupid decision by him BUT he is technically an adult. I would still have an issue with him not taking responsibility at his age but a year or so ago, I would more understand him as being a stupid kid making stupid choices that should not bind him to an adult world.
See that is the thing. I think that making a woman or a man completely responsible for conceiving the child is stupid. The answer to someone saying "a woman should just keep her legs crossed" is not saying "well a man should mind where he puts his cock". The same with the claim that "the woman should be on the pill" is not answered by saying "the man should have used a condom".
People that try any of these position whilst not addressing the other element in the equation are arseholes. Your friend is an arsehole.
Under these kind of conditions this would victimise men in a way you would hate women to be similarly victimised. Young boys statutorily raped by their female teachers would need to pay money they could not have in their teens and/or go to jail. Parents could be financially ruined by a teenage son's carelessness. Sending boys into an abusive jail system because they did not have the financial means to fight it. "You did not use a condom and your girl did not use birth control. Prepare to be raped in jail".
Wholesome. Real human position you have there Mirah. Glad you did not take a position and not surprised that Rootilda jumped all over that.

Lets take away easy access to birth control for women.

I see. So YOU think (correct me if I am wrong) that the response to a law that puts all the onus on the woman is one that puts all the onus on men. YOUR position is it MUST be one or the other, right?
This is not MY position and I have laid out mine as to what abortion should be and what I support. You seem to be giving oxygen to the lack of all responsibility for the woman and complete responsibility for the man and to further jail or fine the man $10 000 for not wearing a condom, whilst not examining the woman's part or responsibility.
Just so long as this IS your view (or was it your friend's view?) to combat bad ideas with equally bad ideas in some poorly conceived idea of retaliation. Right?
And no just so you know, because some state's representative in a country I do not live in nor have ever been to suggests something about abortion I do not agree with and that I think is a bit extreme, I do not have to pander the its extreme opposite BECAUSE I am not an arsehole. So the "So you want women to die" implicate is dishonest and you know it is. You also know my positions and so you know me not agreeing with men being solely responsible is not me saying that I think women should be solely responsible.

So how about no let's not do that either? Let's not presume that anyone objecting to males being fully responsible for a consensual two party act are solely responsible and should risk prosecution and jail if they are not. Let's NOT recommend that women similarly be made fully responsible for a two party consensual act?
Doesn't that make more sense?

Don't waste your breath (or keystrokes) Duchess, seriously.
I don't care about the crap FryGuy thinks, says, or attempts to project upon me (and others). But, I do feel kinda obligated to address it when someone else responds to it.
Everyone here can read and comprehend and is thus aware that FryGuy is the only poster who incessantly lectures/chastises other posters and calls those who don't agree with him 'liars', 'retarded', 'stupid' etc (while hypocritically claiming to be a "critical thinker" and "non-emotional", no less). It's the rule not the exception with him and I generally just skip past his crap.
Anyway, a conspiracy theory is obviously not a question, argument, or accusation between two people. So, FryGuy either doesn't know what he's ranting and lecturing about again when he labels my comments/questions to Maggot in the Supreme Court thread a "conspiracy", or he just jumped off my contextually-accurate and completely unrelated "conspiracy theory" comment today because he was looking to dredge up a dead horse as an excuse to emote, bitch, and air his butthurt about me......... again. Either way, bitches gonna bitch.
Maybe the bitching is therapy for FryGuy. Maybe one day he'll be able to manage his moral outrage and apparent PTSD at having witnessed a heated exchange on the internet. And, maybe Maggot can help FryGuy's progress by speaking for himself and not allowing FryGuy to continually position him as a silent victim when he's looking for an excuse to spew (or............maybe not, it's between the two of them).

Don't try projecting your bullshit on me HoTD. You may consider yourself a moral and intellectual authority on here from which you make announcements from high but you are down the muck with me, like or not. You are right that I do call out dishonesty and stupidity and on positions that are.....dishonest or stupid. Some people do not like that. I can understand that.
My position is that such people could (if truly concerned about that) change to making honest and reasonable propositions or they could learn deal with my replies in whatever means they have at their disposal. I do not much give a shit. That goes for you too, Snowflake.
A conspiracy theory is not simply an ideological belief or an educated guess or a theory that you do not agree with. That is exactly how you in your condescending form dismiss beliefs you do not agree with. I see you do it to others (and myself) and I throw it back in your face when I see it. You have a bit of hide now trying to critique me for returning the favour, but its all good.
I am not butthurt, that is projection....again. You may know your own mind but you do not know a thing about what upsets me, motivates me, or makes me smile and chuckle at you when I read your posts. You like to make wild speculations and say them as fact but you are clueless.
Apparent PTSD? What the fuck are you on about? I want you to clamber off your high horse and get real for a second. No projection, no ad hominems, no attempts to deflect critique with appeals to your popularity. Seriously, you are saying that ANYONE may be IN ANY WAY emotionally moved by you......on a forum? What the Hell would you HONESTLY think may cause that? What do you imagine you have done or could possibly do that would make you a real threat to safety?
I would not know you if I tripped over you which is as close to impossible due to where you and I live. I do not know you more than a recognisable silly avatar that posts on a message board. That is it. You know the types of things that people experience to have PTSD? You know what it is right? You are not either dishonest or stupid (you say) and so why would you make that claim?
Oh and I would not try to get Maggot to come in to back you up. You are a big girl HoTD. Pull on your big girl pants and own your bullshit. If you are a projecting, condescending, virtue signaling, ideological zealot with delusions of moral and intellectual relevance coupled with Snowflake tendencies, then you should own it. Maggot has his own shit to deal with (he has just had two fucking heart attacks) rather than play white knight to your fainting maiden. You have Duchess, she should be enough. No? How much back up do you need to deal with someone arguing with you online? Who is really butthurt here? Who is really projecting? Who is making dishonest ad hominems? Who is riding her highhorse for all she is worth?

IDK I have seen Duchess, Rootida and a few others say things about Trump and anyone that supports him that make me cringe. I have also seen FryGuy say things that make me shake my head. I may have done the same. I do not need anyone to "defend" me nor do I feel a need to "back up" anyone's statement. If I agree I would say so. HOTD has a way of words that can put people down without actually saying it, but that's just good debate no matter how frustrating. Fry guy can have a good point also and that point sometimes gets lost.
In the end I can just brush it off from a political debate or religious one and post something else praising the person I just had it out with. I don't hold grudges and like to just get it out there then move on. Who really cares? Life is way to short to hold that crap in at any point.
I also think everyone has something to say except maybe Big Mark now there's a guy that you just never know what side he's on and who really cares anyways I certainly don't.
