I liked the Dohraki's role, they are fierce warriors and helped the side a heap.

But it I am ever in a battle i want Samwell Tarly's plot armour. Did he even have a weapon? Great episode all around. Out of interest, where were the knights of the Vale?

I hear ya! I was so jacked up after it ended it took a good 90 minutes to calm the hell down and go to sleep and I was up again only a few hours later. I usually go to bed with the chickens. Old

I was watching some fan reactions to the Arya/Night King scene and one woman threw her cat over her shoulder, that's not normally the kind of thing I'd find amusing but it wasn't a violent toss, more like tossing blankets off when you get out of bed. I laughed at a lot of the reactions and I knew I looked just like them when that scene went down.

Y'all know Theon's crazy uncle, the one who is fucking Cersei, right? I've seen him interviewed a few times now and the guy is a dick in real life too. He's just like his character but without all the sadism & violence surrounding him, in public anyway.

I must have missed a lot of nuance, I see people claiming that Varys is a selfless public servant that "only serves the realm" as he's claimed in several episodes. He always seemed like a self-serving snake to me.

No way! Varys always covers his ass first, always. I didn't view him as being a selfless public servant at all, as a matter of fact I thought his tone seemed somewhat threatening.

In one of the first few episodes I remember him saying his only purpose is to serve the realm. I think it was the one where he was telling the story about how he got his nuts cut off.
