Well, since we're at it, can I have a title under my name?
EMPRESS would work.

A - I don't want to be a mod here.
B - Why the fuck would I want to trawl through biker bitches old posts? I suppose I could if I have a bout of insomnia. C - If biker bitch is as fearless as she claims why doesn't she just put a poll thread up?, "Should I continue as a moderator here? Answer yes or no" no bullshit no stupid games just numbers.

Middle Finger Wrote:Remove the torture chamber, remove Sinister, put in a sweety nice forum where mocking is not allowed ... I like BornDragon's idea of a non-canibal area where we can discuss things but you must allow mocking - only not of each other but the topic at hand. I think that's what your idea may have been with your assholes in the news section and for the most part you know they discuss and rant on topic there. Granted there is a few stray hijackings but on the whole it is pretty tame in there. Change the category name, keep the forum for news and add one for open discussions. Stick a set of no cannibalizing rules in there and you're set. I don't think this contest is worth anyone's time. If Sinister wants to step down then she should do so. On all my boards mods are only there to keep order on a tech level - to keep topics in the right categories and to only police if they break a rule. Supermods have this same responsibilty on the whole board and to be more like my technical assistant. I dont' think you need any kind of restructuring other than the above and now you got two members who've said basically the same thing. And others have asked for it as well. Your "mod situation" is your own to wrestle with. If there's a situation at all, which I don't really see. Sinister makes one mistake and locks a topic she neglected to leave no loopholes in the rules on and everyone has a dramatic attack on the subject and we now have ourthird soap opera going on at mock. Maybe this is more of a drama board?

The Antagonist! WTF? That last post of your's made sense. Did your two neurons fire at the same time and make something special and unrepeatable? Bravo!

Hmmm I think you just actually paid attention and took the time to read real slowly and finally understood what you read is all. My "two neurons" fire just fine all the time.

The no-mock area idea has been suggested before but I am not sure I like abandoning what we have now. I don't think I can stand the increase nice talk and soup chicken bullshit that is practically guaranteed to follow. It's not like there isn't enough opportunity to have serious discussions should people really feel like it. If I want to discuss a serious topic I can just post about it and certain people will be serious and others will not be, and I can ignore those I wanted to. If people can't handle getting razzed on while they try to discuss their skin rash or love of cars in a serious way, then they are on the wrong site, I am thinking. I also like the unpredictability, I guess.

So we have to wait until Sinister loses her fucking mind before you'll consider putting in another mod? I think we're well past that point.

Why Liquid felt the need to Ramsey all over the forum today shall remain a mystery.

I think she's part of the reason we've lost some pretty good posters here, not in small part because of her mismanagement of the newbie forum. Is that good enough or shall I continue?

The stale repetitive crap we've had since... well essentially since the newest pack of newbs came through (with an exception or two) makes it pretty tiring to wade through the posts sometimes (more 'muck' than 'mock' many times), but I think they will eventually move on. Some people have justified anger it seems and you can't blame them for frothing at the mouth a bit. I don't know if there is a reasonable way to 'control' the flaming without seriously putting a damper on the spirit of the site.

You realise this counts as a whine and not a mock? Just asking?

Complaints do not become 'whines' simply because you disagree with them, dumbass. However, if you really feel like seeing it as a 'whine', go ahead. I really don't give a fuck. At least you spelled it correctly this time.

No you whine and whinge. Come on admit it Syber. Embrace it.
Think how well you will fit in with a whine, whinge, bitch, rant type forum. I will try to find one for you. You are an excellant whiner. Best I have seen. You can't mock to save yourself though. |
