Both articles of impeachment against President Trump were just passed by the House Judiciary Committee.
Unsurprisingly, all of the Democrat committee persons voted in favor of impeachment while all of the Republican committee persons voted against it. The vote was 23 to 17 on each of the two impeachment counts, 1. Abuse of Power and 2. Obstruction of Congress. Next week, the full House of Representatives will vote on whether to officially impeach the President. In the 2018 midterm congressional elections, the Democrats won a slew of their races and now have enough a majority in the House to impeach President Trump without putting vulnerable Democrat congresspersons (those in districts that Trump won handily in 2016) under pressure to vote for impeachment ahead of their 2020 re-election campaigns. So, this month, barring any major surprises, President Trump will become the third President to be impeached by a simple majority vote by the U.S. House of Representatives. And, barring any major surprises, the Republican-majority Senate will vote against removing the impeached President from office by a 2⁄3 majority vote.

Edited because I meant to post in another thread and somehow ended up in here. I don't know.

Rep Cedric Richmond watching the presidents cup golf tournament during the impeachment hearings yesterday.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

Good for him. I muted the TV when republicans were shrieking their lies. They'd all give a teen girl a run for her money in the drama department.

The entire thing is a dumb-dumb fest I have not wasted one minute on it. Dem hypocrisy at best.

At this point I feel sometmes as if Trump is trying to get fired.
After all is said and done he will show us all the thngs he did and the republicans didn't care. But that dream is too good to be true. Even he believes he is best. But sometmes-I'm just like "Are you serious with this crap?"

I've been doing this for more years than you have been on this Earth. So I kinda regret hating it so much on some days. I usually like it.

Democrat assholes taking pictures of Lesko's desktop when they are in recess. Imagine the outrage if they were Republican and taking pictures of a Democrats desk! MSN & CNN would be having hourly coverage of it and looking to have them arrested.
Not the first time this has happened but one of the times they have been caught.

Are their desks in such a wide open area a secret? Isn't this in a place where reporters, cameras and miscellaneous people are? I ask because someone would have to be an imbecile to leave anything considered private out on a desk.

How is this any different than taking a photo of the guy watching golf during the impeachment hearings?
