I think you're well aware that you're barking up the wrong tree Sal. But, if you aren't, it's more amusing.

I thought Aussie meant all the environmental protections that Trump has lifted to benefit his buddies in the oil industry. Open national parks to fracking, mining, drilling, logging. Allowing our waterways to become polluted to enrich big industry. Bringing fucking asbestos back, for fuck's sake. And then Trump's idiot sons that love to kill African animals for the photo opportunity.

I dont agree with any of it, but let's not pretend like we haven't been destroying this fucking planet forever. Now all of the sudden Trump is enriching big industry and the demise of the world? Stop being stupid.

It's far from stupid to point out how President Trump has been revoking domestic environmental protection regulations and pulling the U.S. out of global climate change initiatives (especially those enacted by Obama) in the course of this discussion Sal.
And, Trump hasn't tried to hide the fact that a main goal for doing so quickly is to suddenly enrich some big businesses again. He's proudly campaigned on that very premise. It is stupid and backward-thinking, however, to pretend that the existence of environmental protection regulations and initiatives (which were enacted despite the political costs of pissing off big business and donors) doesnt contradict your argument that nobody cared before or took action. If that argument had any merit, there would be no environmental protection regulations and initiatives for Trump to undo, obviously.

There is no balance on some of the regulations, the cost to business is too high for miniscule improvements.

trump plans to cut the size of Bear's Ears by 85% and the Grand Staircase by nearly half. He's opening them to mining & drilling. They are both national monuments.

Some of the regulations aren’t/weren’t prudent in terms of the cost/benefit ratio. I agree. In lots of cases though, the short term financial benefit to big (and sometimes small) businesses from doing nothing or going backwards on important environmental protections comes at too high a future risk/cost to society and the ecosystem. It’s not cool, to put it mildly, when those risks are ignored or denied by politicians looking for votes or donations from the companies/people that benefit from inaction in the short term.

I never felt hate in my life until trump and it extends to the GOP now as well. I hate them all.

The only fruitloop on this page is you.
If it weren't for the fact his name is directly beneath his picture you wouldn't even know who he is or why he is considered a great American patriot.

He's lucky he didn't get court martialed and hopefully that option is available.

You once said, and I'm paraphrasing here, that we all liked each other & had such a good time on our tiny site, why did we have to talk about politics.
