Duchess commented that she enjoys retail therapy, and i wondered if others here really enjoy shopping? i HATE shopping. i used to enjoy high-end stores, but now i can't stand the hassle, the driving distances, and never finding exactly what i want. ::irk::
since i started shopping online i have been very happy with the ability to getprecisely what i want and have it come right to my door! :cool:and i can still shop the better stores that i would have to drive into boston for otherwise. now THAT's a nightmare! ::death::
I think she meant online shopping... that's basically the only kind of shopping I do anymore except for groceries. Crowds irritate me, Utah crowds even more so. I've never seen so many ill-behaved children in my life.

I did mean online shopping, I think it's the best invention since air conditioning...I like spending money, it makes me happy...It's also the only reason I work, I want financial independence & I'd rather slit my throat than to have to justify a dime I spent...fuck that.

Grocery shopping I have become ruthlessly efficient at, its like a timed military mission, if my daughter is with me she knows just to grab onto the back of my jacket and keep moving.
I can do a full daily shop in about 13 minutes.

I hate shopping per se, with a passion... but I love kitchen shops. I'm a gadget man, I have kitchen gadgets for everything! Don't get me started on herbs and spices and condiments...

You've got to be really careful with chinese knock offs JB, they are all over the place (especially fucking e-bay), a friend of mine bought a rolex for £100 when it came it looked like a plastic replica with scratchesall over it. When he checked to return address it wasa P.O.Box in Hong kong, even though the E-bay ad said, item location - Paris.

I could go nuts in a Le Creuset store. I have Zwilling & Henckels knives, have had them for about 15 years and they still sharpen fine enough that I can shave with them

I'm like you Crash.... I love to cook and all kinds of gadgets for the kitchen thrill me.
Where I live finding good produce and ingredients is becoming harder by the day. I'm finding online shopping better and better and never mind the people here.... it's freakin' Benny season now the beach is open. I don't go to the stores unless its necessary.
Nice herb shop, Ant.
I also very much prefer to shop online. I DETEST going to 'walmart' and I generally don't enjoy grocery shopping (unless I'm looking for something special).
