Do you belong to a gym?

I'm just curious, (not in that kind of way like you think either) does anyone work out at a gym?
If you do is it a YMCA, a fitness club type, or a Rocky Balboa type shithole?
How much do you get involved in there, do you lift, do cardio, take group classes?
Do you shower or use the sauna?

OK, now on to my point, I winter over at the gym, when the weather starts getting cold and I no longer feel like braving the cold on my bicycle I get to the gym. I'm all about cycling and cardio. I keep meaning to get some instruction on core exercises, but never do, I keep wanting to go to the spinning classes, but never do.

Now to the real point, the locker room.
What the fuck is with people? I mean if they are gonna take a shower they strip down and walk around bare assed all over the place. Today some sweaty fuck comes outta the sauna bare assed and prances over to the sinks and stands there shaving like he's in his bathroom at home.
I've been seeing this shit for the past 3 winters or so, is this normal in a locker room? Do these fuckers just want everyone to look at their junk?

On the rare occasion that I shower at the gym I wrap a towel around myself, pull my underwear down and head for the shower area. I do just the reverse when leaving the shower and getting dressed.
I wasn't a jock when I was a kid so have limited locker room experience, but I was in the service and showered with 53 other men all at once and don't remember seeing this much bare ass. Is it me or is this just the normal way people are in locker rooms?
I'm not terribly modest or anything but I really don't think everyone wants to look at my balls, I just try to be respectful and cover myself as not to make everyone uncomfortable.

I go to the gym about 4 times per week and switch days between cardio and lifting, but I don't shower there. I only live 10 minutes away so I'll shower at home if I need to. I used to go to the YMCA and those old bats walk around butt ass naked in the locker room, they even blow dry their hair in the nude. It's quite a site.

I try not to, but sometimes it's tough to walk somewhere, like out the door without ever looking up to see where I'm going.

A year or so ago I come in from my workout and just gonna change and get home, I'm all sweated up and some old naked guy standing there with his towel around his shoulders starts talking to me. No he didn't sound like the old guy in the walker on family guy, but now he does in my mind.

I don't bother with gyms, I like to go for a run outside especially in the winter, I also have a heavy bag hung up in the garage, and an exercise bike, so I don't need no steenking gym.
