I am not being defensive, I am reacting to ignorant bullshit. What Lumpy is neglecting to tell you, Ramsey, is that such a hands-off approach was tried already with just one forum - the political forum - and all it did was allow internet tramps and trouble-makers like Lumpy to create an environment where they can launch personal attacks constantly. All it did was make some of the nicer, smarter people leave.

There are always a handful of people that want to launch personal attacks often, and those are the ones I wind up removing out of necessity. The answer to not babysitting as much is getting rid of those who launch personal attacks. The rest is bs.
