I'm thinking that the cancel culture should be called Eracist. A cool name to go along with the cool culture. Also the NY times and NY Post should look into its own racist past before delving into Mt Rushmore. I'm kinda getting sick of all this crap if you have not noticed.
But that's OK Colleges are getting whacked and at least the young people are not getting indoctrinated this year.
Maybe Trade schools will come out on top. At least there is a job available after college there.

I gave myself a giggle with a thought of Boy George going out in the 80's.
However, I kinda think this virtual learning might be a good thing. I taught the grandbrats the basics for their grade level, and then extra for what they showed interest in.
As far as college goes, I started in 2010 (when I was 40), graduated with an associate's in 2012. The amount of totally useless credits that I had to take was phenomenal.

That is cool cannongal. Did you have a focus? I also got my associates-when I was 35. I didn't feel any of my credits were useless tho. I got my AA in business management.

I did environmental sciences. I had this crazy idea that I wanted to start a landscaping company that specialized in edible landscapes.
The useless credit comment comes from having to take 'electives ' that had nothing to do with the degree. Oh, and then there was that required class that you taught me how to create a resume and dress myself.

My brother Ed got his associates in culinary management all paid for by our parents and decided to waste it by deciding not to work and trying to get disability once he was diagnosed with neuropathy.
I wasted my BA in History until I got this current State job.

California uses gigantic resources for ornamental landscaping, imagine walking down the street with gobs of oranges, lemons, grapefruit, peaches, plums, apricots, apples, bananas, avocados etc. Just ready for you to eat.

I saw that you can order miniature potted lemon, lime and orange trees. I was thinking about buying some for the backyard.

I am so disgusted with myself for being surprised that's how you view higher education. I've read over & over again that it's a running theme with trump republicans but I didn't think I actually knew someone who believes that.

Republicans thought that, way before trump came on the scene. I remember hubs calling it 'liberal indoctrination ' back when I went in 2010.
