As far as I can tell, those Mockers view all protesters are rioters. They have a mindset regarding it much in the same way they did when Colin and so many others were kneeling. No matter how many times they were told it was to bring attention to social injustice they continued to say, uh uh, they disrespectin' da flag. They wanted it to be what THEY wanted rather than what is was, and is, about.

They're not all violent protests. 

They're not all peaceful protests,  either. 

Cops have no way of knowing what type of protest it's going to be,   hence the tear gassing and trying to disband the protesters. 

All it takes is 1 person to incite violence,  then a few more say 'what the hell,  why not?', and before you know it,  everyone jumps on the bandwagon and half the city is destroyed. 

Now,  everyone looks bad.  The protesters all look violent,   the cops all look militaristic,  and nobody seems to care about the kids who are crying whilst watching their city burn to the ground.

Everybody loses in these situations.

That's pretty much common sense, but no one seems to have much of it anymore.

Same here. I know I don't poke much here on Mock but I'd still miss it. Same goes for the Trump supporters I poke on Facebook. Some of them arent as nice about it as Maggot. They get nasty.

I wouldn't miss it. I like the good old days when there wasn't such a divide between parties and people could have rational discussions. And the president didn't have a cult.

Pretty sure Cannongal and I don't agree on much but we're still capable of fairly intelligent conversation without me wanting to shove an ice pick in her ear. I can't say the same for Maggot and Mark.

Most of these photo's are from a week or 2 ago.  This was not a peaceful protest,  this is vandalism at it's finest,  and we're all going to pay for it.

But ELK LIVES MATTER!!!!!!!!
Now we won't have history of the Elk! How will we know what it did? What it looked like? How it lived? No one will know! No one will care!

P.S. I had to look up what the statue looked like. Pretty impressive. Apparently it was taken down after the base was damaged. So it is preserved somewhere. But who knows where!

I am waiting for the 2 people to respond that will take my above post seriously.
