My mom would tell me that girls don't call the boys, boys call the girls...
...she also told me to not run out the door when he gets here, make him come to the door and get you.
Can y'all remember some of your first dates? Were you nervous?

my 1st date, 1974. took the young lady bowling; got a hug and a kiss good night. went for the side boob during the hug - stole 2nd base.
but I followed all those other rules your mother had.

My first date, 1994. Took her to the college's Harvest Ball swing dance. Got some French kisses, massaged her butt bone over the pants. Made her moan. 3 months later we broke up. 20+ years later, still a virgin. Damn uptight Christian chicks.

I've dated guys that open the car doors, I love it.
My first date was my friend's brother, we went to the movies, early teens probably no hand holding.
I had my first kiss in 8
th grade, I hated it.
Highschool is when it really started getting fun.

My mom told me the same thing. They should be chasing you like puppy dogs, not the other way around.

I don't know what that means. Is it the same reference as Catholic school girl?
