TURMOIL IN THE UKRAINE / RUSSIA AGGRESSION

I think global leadership means King Of The World.

I'm glad you're reading all that stuff up there ^^^^^ that you just referred to. I can't. I don't even want to think about all the things I'm posting about in this thread, but I'm feeling anxious.

Fair enough, but do keep some cash on hand, and try not to watch too much fear porn. It's bad for our health.

Putin isn't going to nuke anyone, sally. Take a chill pill with some tonic and zinc -- or vodka or gin. It really doesn't matter who the president is at this point, because national leaders don't call the shots in this world.

I dont think he's going to nuke anyone, but when Biden was asked that question by a reporter he responded like a moron. So my question was to Duchess why the hell she never speaks about that bumbling idiot of a president she voted for and instead to this day is still ranting about Trump.

trump is still a major player in politics and the presumptive republican nominee in the next general election and I will never, and I mean never ever, miss an opportunity to rub his ridiculous bullshit in the faces of all who support & defend him. Does that answer your question?

No it does not answer my question, I already know what you think of Trump. You can't seem to admit, however, that the alternative was a very bad choice.

Why would I say that when I don't agree with it? Shiiiit. I can't even really imagine what a shit show it would be if trump were in charge right now. And lest you forget, it was Ukraine that trump tried to shakedown. I will laugh in your face if you're saying trump would be doing a better job right now.

He couldn't shakedown the Ukraine Biden and his son did it before he got there.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

Nope. Your orange god is guilty. How the hell you find that POS appealing is beyond me.

Do y'all remember when trump rolled back the sanctions imposed on Putin while he was in office?

Do y'all remember when trump stood laughing with two senior Russian officials in the fucking Oval Office where he shared Israel's secrets?

Do y'all remember when trump took the GOP's platform and removed its anti-Russia stance on Ukraine?

Do y'all remember when trump withheld security assistance from Ukraine when they wouldn't lie for him?

Do y'all remember when trump tried to get rid of NATO and dismantle the EU?

Bitch, please.

Russia state TV is showing clips of trump's kind words for Putin as well as our former Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo,  saying "Putin is very shrewd. Very capable. I have enormous respect for him".

Imagine Secretary Clinton saying that about our biggest enemy. A couple of you would have had a friggin' stroke.

Wow. Are you saying you don't like Trump? And you think Joe Biden will save us all?

I’m saying President Biden will do a better, much, much better, job of handling this situation than trump would. Yup, that’s what I’m saying.

Yeah you're right and Biden predicted it when he said in 2019 to imagine what would happen to Ukraine if Trump were re-elected. Thank God he wasn't, I can only imagine what would have happened.

He would never have been elected if the Democrats weren't compromised, so why don't we all pull together and try to come up with an alternative to a bankrupt system that prevents us from having competent leadership?

Probably for the same reason that Trump supporters continue to support Trump, in spite of the fact that he's horribly divisive.

I'm willing to do that. I'm not ever opposed to working with others to find common ground.

Washington DC is the problem; it will never be fixed by using the corrupt system in place. Both parties are propping that system up for their own profit.

The only peaceful solution is Article V. The states created the government; it is time the states exert their control on government.

I'm reading some reporting that Ukraine's ambassador to the United States has told journalists that (some) Russian troops have surrendered to Ukraine forces. It was said that the troops were unaware they had been sent there to actually kill Ukrainians. Is it possible they were unaware of that? Why would they think they were there if it wasn't to do just that?

In a lot of the reading I've done the past few days I have seen it said that many, if not most, Russians feel a kinship to Ukraine, some of them were born there, some have family there, some grew up there & some are in love with a person who is Ukrainian. I suppose that could explain why they hesitate to slaughter Ukrainians.

That's war propaganda, nothing more. And no doubt the Russians are doing the same sort of reporting in their nation. The only thing that would be reliable right now would be civilian reporting, which is much harder to access these days thanks to the censorship of "misinformation".
