SNAKELand (I hate (SNAKES) has been “sweltering” all summer here,
In the parking lot, I accidentally touched my car with
My hand and got the beginning of a “blister”! Too fucking hot!!!
Too many days at 110+!

A big ass storm went through around 4:30 and knocked out all the humidity and my electricity too. I could have kissed somebody's ass when it just came back on.

We got a brief torrent of rain a half hour. Sheets of rain. Humidity seems the same.

Has the humidity been awful up there? It's been horribly humid here for a few days. I'm surrounded by trees and the wind was ferocious. I was sorta amazed at how much they can take without breaking or uprooting.

Yeah me too. Welcome to hydroplane and near zero visibility city. So glad I made it to my my brother's apartment unscathed.

I don't think we've had a single heat wave. If we did it was back in May. Humidity hasn't been especially bad, temperatures have been fairly mild.
What's it been like in Albany, Clang?

Summers are enjoyable when there's no humidity. My dad spends the summers back home just across the river and he's been having lows in the high 40's to low 50's. It's 64 degrees right now.

How do you explain that kind of difference, and why aren't you living over there?

I can't explain the difference, but I see at least a 10 degree difference almost daily from one side of the river to the other.
I don't live there because I make my home here now & I have for a long time. I used to vacation up there, but it's been awhile. I would rent a cottage on the river and see family and old friends. Things have changed a great deal. No more swimming in random places along the river, designated only and a fuck ton of border patrol everywhere. I still think it's the most beautiful place, but never appreciated it until I moved away. I miss the river a lot, and the river birch trees.

I've had awesome weather ever since that big storm went through the other night. In the 80's, no humidity. Ahhhhhh. That shit will be returning later in the week., but it's been lovely while it's lasted.

Same here, couldn't ask for any better, and only one month until September, my favorite time of year.

It’s still hot and humid as hell here in September. My favorite weather in Florida is actually March.

It was perfect weather tonight for dancing up a storm at the Big Daddy Kane concert at the Empire State Plaza.

The days are getting shorter & I'm really seeing it in the early morning now. It's nearly 6:00 AM and it's still dark.
