Throwing stuff out feels so good.
I had this tote filled with mostly hiking type food and it was a mess. I finally sorted it and tossed most of it as it was garbage and from last summer. Fucking gross I know.
But at least now its gone. I was hoping some of the nuts and seeds could be salvaged to make something with-but they were too old. AND EVEN THE CHOCOLATE IN ANY OF IT WAS NOT TASTY!
The only thing salvagable was the 6 sweedish fish that I had in a sealed bag. I ate them.

I need to go through the house and throw out a lot of shit. I feel better with less stuff, it takes a weight off of my shoulders.

I need to go through my apartment and throw out stuff and organize. I'm ok with lots of stuff as long as it's neatly organized.

Ugh. I don't like getting rid of my stuff. I love my stuff! I'm materialistic.

I've got hoarder tendencies but if I can purge a bit and keep my stuff neat and organized, I can keep it under control.
Look at this stuff, isn't it neat? Wouldn't you think my collections complete? Hell no you be very wrong. I must have almost everything!

I don't mind getting rid of shit, but I hate throwing perfectly good shit in a landfill. (I know, that sounds wrong).
I hoe out every once in awhile, because I don't want my kids to have to deal with a farmhouse full of shit. I just don't like hauling everything to the dump, so I post in those 'everything free' groups, it saves me a lot of frustration.

If its nice stuff thats fine. I'm sure you would have no problem getting rid of a tote full of old hiker food!
If I am going to buy new clothes I like to get rid of old clothes, not only to make room, but if something has been sitting around and not worn and I'm buying new stuff might as well get rid of old stuff.

No, I wouldn't, not at all.
