Pretty sure it was *fermented* garlic. No idea how much of a difference that makes.

I'm not sure if I have raw honey....it came from the garden down the road. Oh! I totally forgot that I made myself some homemade cough syrup. Dang- it was onion/ garlic in a jar wth honey? Let it sit 24 hours? I have to check it out

Petite Beef Wellington, bacon wrapped asparagus and twice baked garlic red potatoes.

Maybe a wedge salad with homemade blue cheese dressing.

Mushroom duxelles on the stove as I type.

I have a fucking sore throat now. I'm drinking some hot green tea with honey, cayenne and lemon. It's not working so I took some sleeping pills.

I'm making some macaroni salad with tuna, shrimp, celery, green pepper, onion, hard boiled egg, peas, mayo, mustard and Old Bay. I love this shit which is why I dont make it often, my fat ass dont need all those macaroni noodles.

Minus the Old Bay that's how my mom used to make it. It's giving me a nice memory.

My mom didn't do the Old Bay or shrimp, but I added it one day and it kicks it up to another level. If I had to pick something that is comfort food to me this would be in the top five.

The sequel book Brown Town by Pu Doodoo is even better. I hear the Chinese version has even more humor added and will make you constipated with laughter.

Tonight . . . grilled petite fillets (dry-aged beef) with green peppercorn sauce, wedge salad and carrot cake with a damned decadent cream cheese frosting.

Snacking on watermelon and rustic bread with blackberry preserves (canned by me).

Beverage . . . TBD.
