lol, that's MY idea of hell. I went to Tahoe in between Christmas and New Years and realized (again) why I detest skiing. I did, however, ride the magic carpet up the bunny slope...me and 20 youngsters and I was the only one without skis. Long story but needless to say it just reinforced my hatred for all things ski related. 
Random comment... my son has discovered the stash of clothes I put aside to pack up and keep from when he was smaller. He is now running around the house in a onesie which is way too small for him, and a couple of hair bands around one leg, making him look like some Romper Room version of a professional wrestler.
I have a weird son.

It's a blast!!! I take the kids to West Mountain tubbing. It really is a lot of fun. And we see the little kids go wizzing by us on the big mountain on their snowboards. It's amazing how good they are for being so little.

I'm drunk as a fucking skunk and my kids are not even home from school yet. I went out for lunch with my husband and had a shrimp po boy with three bloody mary's and then we stopped and got a 12 pack of Spaten. I admit that I'm a lush. Now I have to go take the goddamn dogs for a walk and sober up so I can cook dinner and do laundry.

I made a sail once with tent poles and plastic so down the river I went, but I had to let it go when I got to close to the edge near the dam. I'm going ice fishing this weekend.
