Love Child, how was your vacation with your family? I hope there was joy, honey.

It was nice. I was actually sad to leave them.

I was happy to come back to snow.

Last night did a sauna with friends and then some food, it was nice. And today had dinner with a family here.

I heard this song the other day and it annoyed the fuck out of me. I know its a classic and its a pretty great song otherwise-but I couldn't get over the way it sounded when he said "Santa Claus"
It sounds like Sany Claus or Sana, with no T. And now it is stuck in my head. Fuck Fuck Fuck

 I basically drove to the location and walked a little ways until I found a good tree.

Reading that kinda makes me wish I still got a real tree. I did that for a lot of years until I got tired of putting so much time & effort into decorating my home only to have it last a couple weeks, now with my artificial tree I can have it up for a couple months, at least through Epiphany. 

When I got home last night, I just looked at my tree and laughed. It really is a sad looking tree. I'll be happy to take it down.

I'm making a beef stew with homemade noodles and bread. It's not a traditional Christmas dinner, but I had all of the ingredients and wanted to avoid the grocery store. My son is going to bring stuffed mushrooms.

How were the mushrooms?

When I got home last night, I just looked at my tree and laughed. It really is a sad looking tree. I'll be happy to take it down.

*gasp* There is no such thing. ALL Christmas trees are beautiful.
