I was picturing someone (far younger and more athletic than me), testing their balance on the giant bouncy balls at the gym. You know there’s some asshole out there that can do that (and probably make it look easy).

There were 3 in one day in a city near Seattle a few weeks ago.

Well, I got the toe of a hiking boot slightly stuck under a step yesterday taking the dog out for a walk and fell forward and fractured the 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th metatarsal bones in the top of my left foot.

I’ll probably be dead before I’m allowed to try to put any weight on that foot again (although…on the plus side, “clean fractures”, it looks like I won’t need surgery). 

I kinda wish they’d just put me in a coma for a few weeks and wake me up when it’s better. Goddamn crutches, crawling up stairs, no running…dis sucks.
