Such as Bob Seger, Ted Nugent, Jason Newsted (I lived only like 40 miles from his Kalamazoo home for awhile) and others. But yes, in general not much good comes from Michigan anymore.
Do you have to live there?
I wonder if Michigan can recover. Is there another industry that can come in behind the automotive industry and use the same buildings/plants and survive? Is the education even fixable? Without that, there really is no hope for state.
I haven't thought of Bob Segar in a while. Loved him back in the day. Uncle Ted was the first live concert I saw. I forgot who Jason Newsted is (lol, not really). I have everything Metallica ever made.
