Honest question: Do you think people who can't manage their own lives well should have a say in matters that can affect others who DO try to be responsible?
They (low income peoples) already get to vote. Whether they use that power responsibly is another matter.
When someone with an effed up life, or an obvious mental dysfunction, offers me advice I don't even try to be polite. Why should we place so much emphasis on what losers want?
You are allowed to be poor until you are in your late twenties. After that either you are clueless or just not able to do better.
