I am not sure where you are getting the idea that you are / were going to be sued. I never said I was going to sue you - although I wouldn't have been above doing that if something had happened.

From my perspective, a member of Duchess's forum threatened to do something to me in real life to try to make me lose my job. That was a direct threat to my livlihood and my family's financial security. I also had no idea if that person would show up at my house where me and my family - including my young child - live...This person had my full name - which they got with the asistance of another member of Duchess's forum...and from there they went into "research" mode... More importantly, they made false accusations and then they made threats to be carried out IN REAL LIFE.
I sincerely hope that no one here ever has to go through anything like that although I am aware that many of the fights at this site do spill over into real life.
When I was being cyberstalked by a member of this forum - the bottom line for me was to play it safe. I reported it to the Security Office at my place of employment immediately. As a courtesy I let the forum owner here know what was happening. I shared the info that I could share with the foroum owner about what took place with the Security Office at my place of employment. That backfired because the forum owner did not see that this is what I was doing. She immediately went on the defensive and told me it was all no big deal and that I should STFU. (I have copies of the PMs to show this.)
Why did I bring this up after 7 months?
Because I was reminded of this experience in an email exchange with the leader of Mock. I was told that I was welcomed to post at Mock as long as I didn't bring up race. I was told that no one at Mock would be racist if I didn't mention race myself. So it was clear to me that the forum owner completely missed the seriousness of what took place all those months ago.
As long as I don't bring up race, I am welcome to post at Mock...That's a bit comical considering that Mock is a lawless free for all & the forum owner just stated she has no intention of "muzzling" anyone.
I expect that this place will disintegrate because there appears to be a lack of integrity and maturity on the part of the key players...The fact that something of this nature was moved into an area called "Funny Shit" speaks dirctly to that point. Cyberstalking and harassing people is not funny.
I have said what I wanted to say & you will not be hearing from me again unless that cyberstalker causes me anymore trouble. If that occurs, the forum owner will definitely be contacted - just not on the forum.
