At the time of the incident, Storro said that a new pair of sunglasses is what stopped the dangerous substance from getting in her eyes…but curiously, it didn’t get in her nose or in her mouth either. As reported by CNN affiliate KATU, Storro said "God is watching over me. I believe in him. That his hands are on me and I can't live the rest of my life like that - in fear. I can't let what she did to me wreck my life." OH PLEASE!
Police spent hundreds of hours on the case and the community came together to offer donations for Storro's treatment.
