JARRATT, Va.--Teresa Lewis became only the second woman in the last 100 years to be executed in Virginia Thursday night.
With all attempts at a stay exhausted, Lewis was put to death at 9:13 am at Greensville Correctional Center. The U.S. Supreme Court and Gov. Bob McDonnell refused to stop her execution.
