i'm really glad to see this officer get the praise she deserves! she didn't have to kill the dumbass thug kid.
BUT i also have to say, we are all trained at academy to shoot center mass, we never shoot to wound when deadly force is warranted. i suspect she was aiming at center mass and missed because his hands were in the way. i am glad he didn't fire back and kill someone.

Police say officer Jones cooly drew her own pistol and exchanged fire, managing to both shoot the suspect's gun out of his hand and the handle off the front door, briefly blocking his escape. Following a trail of blood, police arrested the alleged robber early Monday, Oct. 25.
