Let’s look for similarities between Bakker and the “Sex-on-the-Down-Low” duo, Timmy and Brandee:

Bakker’s ministry is independent of any denomination.
Timmy and Brandee’s ministry “ . . . is an autonomous and independent Christian ministry that is not subject to the control of any denomination or other ecclesiastical body.”

Bakker’s ministry credential was stripped by the Assemblies of God (and he allegedly holds a ULC ordination)
Timmy and Brandee possess FREE online ULC ordinations

Bakker wrote a book titled “The Refuge”
Timmy and Brandee claim a ministry named “The Refuge”

Bakker had sex with anonymous men
Timmy and Brandee solicit sex with anonymous men

Bakker blames others for his transgressions “. . . I was wickedly manipulated by treacherous former friends and colleagues who victimized me with the aid of a female confederate . . . I was set up as part of a scheme to co-opt me and obtain some advantage for themselves over me . . .”
Brandee claims he “. . . took the rap for something he didn’t do.”

Bakker solicits donations through his website
Timmy and Brandee solicit donations through their websites

Bakker has a film with his ex-wife as the focus
Brandee has a film with a masturbator as the focus

We won't even get into the "Raffle" scam.

I wonder how they stack up with Swaggert?
