So the national debt at least doubled under George W. I'm not an Obama fan right now but I don't blame him for the current state of our national debt. Let's not forget Bush was at the helm when our economy started to nosedive (and when all that creative financing was occurring with mortgages) and as I recall he signed or endorsed the initial stimulus package. Oh, and he got us involved in two very expensive wars--one over weapons of mass destruction that oops, didn't exist.

I hate all politicians right now.

We paid off WWII around 1997.

I remember why we went to war. Bush did the right thing. Mass graves. 'Nuff said. Plus, we have to remind the world every 50 years that we can kick their ass. You can't just *say* you are a superpower. You have to back that shit up.

The Chinese don't have enough boats to get their uneducated forces over here, so they will stay put and just grumble at us. Plus, we owe them money. Blowing up their biggest money maker would be bad form.

The increase you see between 1990 and 2000 is comparable to the trend over the last 100 years. The tripling you see in the last 10 years is due mainly to Owebama bailing out his homies. At least we get to blow shit up with war increases. People get all pissy when you blow up government housing projects.

Aknow said something one time about how we should be spending our money teaching people here to not be fatasses. I think we should let them die if they don't know any better. Dogs will eat until they are sick. People shouldn't.
