I'm spoiling for a fight.

I don't know if anyone cares about this crap or not but if you do I'll be happy to keep you abreast of what's going on.

One of the craziest things real Egyptologists believe is that there is nothing in the culture related to pyramid building or the way they were built. This is just simply absurd in light of the fact that if they had used ramps construction would have eaten up a quarter of GDP. How do they devote such huge resources to pyramid building and then never speak of it. They even neglected to bury any ramp builders and a remarkably low number of any kind of pyramid builders. This is simply impossible. It's inconsistent with the evidence.

There are three new concepts I've identified in the last few days.

The first is the nbht-sceptre. Like all sceptres they wrote about this was a machine part. These weren't instruments of magical power, they were instruments of motive power. This specific sceptre was also called the "variegated feathers of the Mehet Weret cow". The Mehet Weret caught water at 80' and the sceptre hung into the water flow to shake violently when the water flowed. This allowed the pyramid builders to tell at a glance whether they had water to work with or not. If the water stopped they needed to wrap up the days work and make a few important lifts to tidy up.

The second is the origin of the weighing of the heart ceremony. Egyptologists think this was the comparison of the weight of the king's heart to a feather. But it had a simple origin. At the beginning of the season the king's body would be the first thing to ascend on the pyramid for his ascension ceremony. His internal organs were spread below on "herb hill" for fertilizer. But his heart had a particular function first. The systems had to be calibrated. This required they move the ascender and counterweight to their midway points and their empty weights were equalized. Their was a device known as the "ma'at pole" (balance pole) on top and this was set on zero with the system in perfect equilibrium. This was just necessary to smooth operation. But it was also a ceremony. They tossed a feather into the ascender and the king's heart in the counterweight. If the heart was lighter then the king was dishonest and if it was heavier he died with a heavy heart. In either case he died the death. But if the system didn't move then they'd complete the pyramid (the king's ka) and he lived forever. Of course this system weighed more than a ton and a half and employed three pulleys (dm-sceptres) so it normally would show perfect balance due to the high coefficient of static friction.

The more important breakthrough is the realization that the jobs on the pyramid were highly sought. It wasn't just that they were easy jobs but there was great prestige in them and a million parties. These jobs were awarded on the basis of the nomes and cities in which the people lived who had made important advancements in technology. The individual who discovered the reaction of the geyser with natron had been from Chemmis so any job on the pyramid associated with "chemistry" was awarded to someone from this city. The pulley was invented in Heliopolis. Etc.

It just all fits and keeps falling smoothly into place.
