Just saw a poll on CNN, or somewhere, asking if you stocked up when there was a threat of a bad storm. I do not usually...because I keep fairly well stocked. I do remember one time, about 10-12 years ago, there was a threat of a "Major Snow Event" for the following day. Schools were being closed in advance, etc, etc. The evening before the "storm" I went to the store to get a few things..because it happened to be payday for me, and the day I usually shopped. Went back to get milk..there was NONE on the shelf..at all. Some store clerk had put one of those "Got Milk" signs in front of the empty cooler. ![Smiley_emoticons_smile Smiley_emoticons_smile](https://mockforums.net/images/smilies/greensmilies/smiley_emoticons_smile.gif)
Turns out, the next day was clear with no snow..the storm had totally bypassed us.
We are supposed to get weather starting tonight...but no grocery shopping for me.
