No, it's not a fact and what I said is entirely relevant. You said that late term abortion is part of the package if you're pro-choice and I'm saying it isn't. I don't know the numbers (and I'm too lazy right now to look it up) but I do know that many people who are pro-choice would be happy to see a ban on late term abortion. It's an awful, barbaric procedure.
I never said I didn't agree with you...all I said was that it's a fact that LTA do happen. Do you think the doc in question is the only monster out there doing these kind of abortions? There are plenty of greedy bastards out there trying to make a buck off the poor people who can't get decent medical attention. If this guy hasn't been checked out since 1992 or 3, how many others are doing the same thing?
I'm not sure if any states allow LTA on demand just because the mother changed her mind at the last minute, but you know there are shady docs out there doing it if people come up with the cash to get it done and want it. There are certain guidelines for getting a LTA...mostly that the mothers life is in danger...it sure the hell didn't stop this guy.
