It's in a sleepy little place called Pinecrest, near Dodge Ridge ski resort, east of Sonora. There's very little there (lake, restaurant, outdoor amphitheatre and little sports shop). That's pretty much it. I get antsy up there after a few days--my husband could stay there for a month (easy).
It's great for kids though--we just have to get it built before they start finding it boring too.
My husband wants his ashes scattered there after death. "Till death do us part" might apply in our case.
