That's pretty cool, Duchess. I'm a decent fixer around here, but I would never take on a huge project. And I don't mess with the house electrical crap. I can replace the igniter on my furnace, but that's about it. I say get a stationary saw if you don't have one, or a sawzall. Those aren't as scary. Just keep your fingers out of the way.
I would like to do some rock work in the future. I spent an entire summer cutting joints and think I could handle that without effing it up too badly.
