I'd like to see my dogs see one of those things 
I'd like to imagine people on various substances when encountering one of these.
A couple of shit faced drunks would be funny. Probably run for their lives.
Someone stoned would be all, "whoa, dude, there's like this gigantic crab over there".
Someone on shrooms would probably try to talk to it.
Somebody doing acid would experience it from the inside and become one with it.
