I have had horse meat, it's not bad, it has a kind of sweet taste but when I look into a horses eyes I see intelligence, like looking into a dogs eye they have depth and can see why they are not a commercial commodity.

They have personalities, they are very intelligent. The horse I ride almost exclusively recognizes my laughter & understands what it is. When he sees me coming with his bridle, he knows exactly what is about to happen & dances back & forth. I'd put a bullet in anyone who laid an offensive hand on him.
