B4 I went to college I served in an army infantry special ops unit, and if I fucked up like these dudes I would be breaking big rocks into little rocks at levenworth (spelling). fucking cowboy bullshit. If you can avoid kicking down the door, avoid it! If the perp comes and goes, pick him up in the fuckin drive way. not rocket science. then search the house with most of the danger eliminated. And now to make things worse home invasion perps are dressing like cops and doing a knock and announce so people comply. Who can you trust?

There will be a point where society will continue to breach it's social contract with the individual to such a degree that the individual will be forced to take action to survive. We are already seeing this in the inner cities across america.

They had a warrant for David Koresh, who went to town every day and had previously let sheriffs into their home. But, the cowboys wanted a showdown so they attacked with the BATF whereupon some of the Branch Davidians returned fire which THEY HAD EVERY RIGHT TO DO UNDER TEXAS LAW. Then it became a vendetta and we know what happened. That, and Randy Weaver, turned a lot of Americans against their government.

You might not know this but special forces were used against the Davidians. The 10^th Mountain Division - along with Apache helicopters and tanks! I've seen video, taken by some of the special ops guys, with Mt Carmel in the distance, as they were preparing for the final assault. THEY WERE LAUGHING.

Shit like this is all about ego. Police and military leadership knows it, too. The cowboys get pumped up and if somebody tries to defend themselves or, God forbid, claim some Constitutional rights, it only enrages the cowboys. An attitude exists of "How dare you defy ME!". We the People ALWAYS lose in these contests, as does liberty.

There was a thread, on The Ron Paul Forums, entitled NEVER call a cop. Think about that. There isn't one dirtbag, gang banger or hoodrat on that forum. Everyone is exceptionally intelligent and politically active. They all agreed - call a cop and you could be setting yourself up for the death of a loved one, a pet, or yourself. How is that any better than some totalitarian society where people FEAR their "public servants"? It isn't.

I am so glad the police aren't armed in the UK, the special armed response units have made so many fuck ups shooting people when there was no need to that I don't think all officers will EVER be armed in the UK.

As for the assholes that laid siege to and then destroyed Waco, whenever anyone asks the question "In the event of a revolution would the armed forces of the US fire on their own fellow citizens?" My answer is look at Waco and Ruby Ridge, not only would the vast majority of them fire they would have a nice laugh about it afterwards.

I watched a program called "Unseen Iraq" which showed scenes of US and British troops doing things you will never see on CNN or the BBC. Shooting unarmed people at random, using helicopter gunships to destroy an entire market place, cruising around in their personnel carriers shooting at any vehicle that comes anywhere near them and beating prisoners half to death.

Some of the young soldiers out there are in fucking hog heaven.
