You all want cheap gas and feel entitled to receive it. That's why we're there and that's why they're dying. Helluva trade-off, eh?

Apparently, it didn't work. I'm paying over $4.00 a gallon now for gas. As an aside, we did get rid of a dicatator and install some democracy in that region. Was it worth it? Time will tell.
