It's called the Common Mind. When you read, you escape and become part of the Common Mind. Poor grammar jerks you right back into your own reality. Nothing fucks up a great book like a typo. It reminds you that you are reading.
Where is the Egyptian culture dude to tell me what Hermes thought about the Common Mind? He hasn't been around in a while...
Published book typos are unacceptable, especially since they are all proofread by at least three elitist assholes.
