Abduction: Mother-in-law pepper spays witness trying to rescue Summer Inman
LOGAN, Ohio -- A search warrant released Wednesday revealed that Summer Inman’s mother-in-law, the person driving the vehicle used in Summer’s abduction, pepper-sprayed a witness who tried to intervene and save Summer.
At about 11 p.m. Summer went into the alley behind the bank. Two men dressed in black forced her into their white Crown Victoria driven by a “bleach blonde” woman.
The two men were Summer’s estranged husband, William A. Inman, Jr. 26, and his father William A. Inman, Sr., 47. The driver was Summer’s mother-in-law Sandra K. Inman, 46.
At least one person tried to save Summer, the warrant read, and was hit with pepper spray by the woman driving the car, Sandra Inman.
