Wifey came home the other night with some Cedar Grilling Planks. Never used these things before, but she'd like me to use them when I BBQ for our Mom's this weekend.
Anyone here have experience with these things? They seem like they may be decent, and I can find a few recipes (Wifey is hell bent on a halibut meal), but am curious as to if anyone here might be able to offer some tips and such that they've learned from experience.
The Halibut-Kabobs sound pretty tasty, although I'd probably use some type of dill marinade/seasoning as opposed to orange flavor. Anyhoo, I want to make it a kickass meal, being how it's Mothers Day and shit..and I'm pretty damned good with the BBQ...just never used these before, so I don't want to fuck it up.
